To download applicare installer register and login to our support site and download the latest applicare installer.

In server details window, enter the IP of the machine (Same machine in which we are installing applicare) and choose any port as you prefer.
In the next screen, choose any database you prefer and click on Next.
We suggest Derby database for POC purpose. For production environemnts and environments with huge load we recommned to use Mysql or Oracle.

Select Applicare package and click on Next.
Verify the settings and click on Next.
Click on Next button once the package installation is completed. Finally click on Done.
Java uses a file java.policy in JRE_HOME/lib/security where port bind permissions need to be granted. By default ports used by Applicare, its database and others are not open in JAVA. Edit this file and add the grants for those port bindings (default port used for Derby is 1527 and 8880 for Applicare but use the one you configured during installation)
