One of the standout features in our Applicare is the Genie Decision Support System, an intelligent AI-powered assistant designed to revolutionize server management and monitoring. With Genie, users can effortlessly inquire about real-time server status, receive detailed alerts, and access critical performance data through a conversational interface. This seamless interaction allows for quick retrieval of essential information, whether tracking server health or investigating system alerts, significantly enhancing efficiency and oversight.
Step 1: Open Genie
- Navigate to the Right side menu
- Find the option labeled Genie Configuration. Clicking on it will take you to the configuration page where you can set up Genie.
Step 2: Enable Genie
- Once in the configuration page, you will see a checkbox to Enable Genie.
- Switch it on to activate the chat bot feature.
Step 3: Provide the Required Credentials

Enter the URL: You will need to provide the URL where Genie will connect. Enter the correct Genie server URL (e.g.,
http://localhost:3000
) or (e.g.,https://localhost:3000
) in the field labeled Genie Chat URL.
Localhost refers to the IP address 127.0.0.1
, which is the loopback address, commonly referred to as "localhost."
3000 is the port number where the server or service is listening for incoming connections.
2. Username and Password: In the respective fields, enter the Genie Username and Genie Password. These credentials are necessary for authenticating and establishing a secure connection with the Genie Chat Bot.
Step 4: Save the Details
- After entering the username, password and URL, click on the Save button to proceed.
- This will save the credentials and URL, ensuring that Genie is properly configured and ready to interact with your system.
Step 5: Start Using Genie
- Once the setup is complete and saved, Genie will be ready to use. You can now access the chat bot.
