Monitoring Apache 2.4 on Linux

Step 1: Log into Applicare console, navigate to the Download Agents screen and download SingleAgentLinux. Copy ApplicareSingleAgentLinux.zip file to the machine where Apache is running.

Step 2: Create a directory named "ApplicareSingleAgent" on the agent machine and extract the ApplicareSingleAgentLinux.zip file into that directory.

Step 3: Execute the apache24_install.sh script with sudo command from the ApplicareSingleAgent directory.

sudo ./apache24_install.sh

From the ApplicareSingleAgent directory, execute the apache24_install.sh script using the sudo command.

Restart the Apache server after installation is complete.

Follow the below steps to configure apache server in Applicare console

Step 4: Start the agent by running the startAgent.sh from within the directory where you extracted ApplicareSingleAgentLinux.zip.

Step 5: Once the agent is started, It will be automatically registered with the Applicare controller.To verify, Log into the Applicare console and go to the Overview menu. 

Step 6: Select the newly added agent and click the Edit button.

Step 7: Check the "Add Apache Configuration" box and set the configuration as specified below. Click the update button to save your changes.
